Binaries
Qvwm's binary is distributed at the following sites.

The latest version of qvwm is ver 1.1.12 (Senzoku).

Xpm library or Imlib is necessary to compile qvwm. Please get it from here, and so on.
We provide binary packages of the following OS/package.
The other sites distribute binary packages of
the other OS/package.
Attention:
Don't forget the latter steps of install.
Patches
Some patches are provided to update the old version of qvwm.
Applying a patch
% cd qvwm's directory
% gzip -d qvwm-1.?.diff.gz
% patch -p1 < qvwm-1.?.diff
Attension:"%"is command prompt.
Current source
The current source of qvwm which is not released is here. It may have no documentation or may be unstable.

I have released a pre-alpha version of the next generation of qvwm, which is written by libqv. I DO NOT recommend other than those who want to cooperate the development of qvwm.
You can download the source code here. To compile it, you need the latest libqv.
Change of 1.1.11 -> 1.1.12
- Add german.qvwmrc, portuguese.qvwmrc, and italian.qvwmrc.
- Fix the bug that the CPU utilization becomes 100% after you send a
remote command to qvwm.
- Eanble to change spacing between short cut icons using
IconHorizontalSpacing and IconVerticalSpacing.
- Fix the bug that qvwm sometimes crashes if sound is enabled at exit.
- Fix the bug that a part of a menu is left on the screen after you
execute a command from the menu.

- A Win95/98 Notepad clone written in Tcl/Tk.

- A run command dialog box by Gareth Bradley (needs GTK).
- anitools
- A tool group to manipulate animation file(.ani) for qvwm.
- qvapm
- Battery indicator and biff running on X for Linux. Qvapm has been developed supposing to be put in qvwm's taskbar.
- libqv
- A class library to create Windows like applications.
- qvbanner
- Show a logo. Use this just before qvwm starting.
